Ayurveda and natural DIY are quite in trend these days and for all the good reasons. If you are also a natural skincare enthusiast, then this Tikta Facewash review by Nathabit is for You. I am writing this review after finishing a full tube of this facewash and I have a lot to say to the acne-prone skin folks!
Let’s get started then!

What are the Ingredients of this Nathabit Tikta Ubtan Facewash?
Tikta means bitter cleansing, the ingredients in these facewashes are based on bitter notes to detoxify the skin and make it squeaky clean. This helps in cleaning the outer layer of skin along with purifying it from toxins.
It contains a lot of good ingredients and the list is here –
Wild kasturi, Rakht Chandan, Besan (chickpea flour), Moong (green lentils), Rose Petals, Multani mitti (fuller’s earth), mustard, aloe vera pulp & juice, honey, starch-derived sugar, lavender, eucalyptus, xanthan gum, geogard (ecocert), capryl glucoside (derived from corn), coco glucoside (derived from coconut), decyl glucoside (derived from olive), aqua, rosemary, salt.
This ingredient list is from the brightening ubtan variant that I have used, although all the facewashes in this Tikta range work on the same principle of bitter cleansing.
The Brightening Tikta Facewash by Nathabit is for acne-prone skin and it won’t disappoint You.
How Nathabit Tikta Facewash Cleans the Skin?
It cleans the skin without drying it out. It doesn’t strip the skin’s natural oil as it doesn’t have soap in it.
Tikta cleans the skin quite nicely, and all the dirt, impurities, and blackheads are simply gone within a few days.
If you are habitual to those foamy facewashes, you may feel that the skin isn’t clean enough but believe me it is.
Just fight the urge to strip your skin’s natural oil with those harsh facewashes that produce froth. Your skin will thank you for that.
Does Tikta Facewash Fights Acne?
Well, having acne-prone skin, I almost always have at least one acne. So that one helped to test the effect of Tikta facewash on treating acne.
Sadly, it won’t reduce your active acne overnight, it’s a slow tortoise in that but it does an amazing job in stopping the new ones from coming.
We can’t expect a lot from a facewash, it’s there on our skin for hardly 30 seconds, cleaning the dirt without drying the skin is the best it can do. As claimed, it also helps in detoxifying the dermal layer of your skin, as I am noticing less acne but the major credit for that goes to my hormone-balancing tea and these habits to balance the female hormones.

Tikta Facewash vs DIY Anti-Acne Facewash
After using both Tikta facewash and my DIY anti-acne face wash and scrub, my vote goes for my DIY recipe.
However, there are huge chances that I am biased so I would like you to try this Tikta facewash, it’s equally good if not better.
So if you are not a DIY person or assembling these ingredients for your skincare is a task for you then Nathabit Tikta Facewash has got your back (couldn’t find this one on amazon.com for US readers though).
