Table of Contents
1. Wipe from Front to Back
As it sounds very obvious & cheesy but wiping down there the correct way after defecation is very important in order to protect yourself from UTI (Urinary Tract Infections) and other genital disorders. So wipe the front, that is the vaginal area first and then go to the back area that is wiping your rear. Don’t touch the vaginal area again as you can transfer the fecal matter infections to your genitals by doing that thus making it prone to infections. ‘Health Faucets’ should be preferred over the ‘old jet’ systems in the commodes. Enough of the poop talk, let’s move forward now.
2. Basic Skin Care
Every skin type has the specific skin care routine which we will be discussing in the upcoming blogs, but each skin type needs proper washing as well as the moisturizing routine. Prefer herbal products over the chemical ones. Some natural products like Aloe vera gel and coconut oil are a boon for skin care.
3. Brushing & Flossing
We all brush, at least once a day, but flossing is still very much ‘alien’ to us. If you are suffering from bad breath, then you better add flossing to your oral care routine, as the mouthwashes and those mouth spray are not treating the problem, they are just masking it. As the food particles, which are stuck in between the teeth are the main cause of the developing bacteria and thus the bad odor. Flossing removes them and also brushing your tongue is very important, as the tongue is a storehouse of bacteria.
If your tongue is not bright pink or pale red, then you better scrub off the bacteria partying over there!
4. Hair Removal/Reduction
Although hair removal is more of a personal choice than a hygiene habit, the hair in the armpits, as well as the pubic hair, can invite more bacteria and also hamper the skin cleaning. You don’t need to wax them every time (as we know the pain), just keep these areas well groomed, either with the Trimmers or the Shavers whichever suits you. Here is the complete laser hair removal guide.
5. Genital Care
The care of the genital area is a bare necessity. Females become ‘the smelly cats’ down there in no time and you don’t want to be one, Ain’t You!
So the vaginal area needs to be taken care of, luckily not much is required. You don’t need those intimate products available in the market unless advised by your doctor as the vaginal area has a very low pH and the acidity of urine keeps the infections at bay. Using the same products down there, which you use for your face tend to be a good choice.
Just take a little amount of your face-wash and just clean the area with the good amount of water afterward. Don’t over-wash it, just the apt. Don’t clean the inside of your vagina with it, just the outer area. We know that You have more questions about it, Just write your questions below and our experts will be more than happy to answer.
