This is really very sweet both in terms of taste and in terms of detoxifying the body. This humble juice is rich in Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA), glycolic acid, and flavonoids, all the goodness that the beauty brands are raving about.
The sugarcane juice can remove dark spots and acne when taken regularly, that is one glass (500 ml) thrice a week.
You can also apply the sugarcane juice on your face as a mask to make it work even faster. Just be aware that it has glycolic acid which is known for removing the upper layer of the skin and revealing the healthy inner layer. So do a patch test on the back of your ear before applying it on your face.

Orange Juice For Acne Treatment
We all know that orange peels have amazing properties of treating acne marks and help in deep cleaning the skin as well.
If the orange rind has so many qualities, we can only imagine what the insides of it have to offer. My personal favourite orange juice has helped me a lot when my face used to be full of acne and I was using all kinds of chemical-based products to treat it.
However, I ended up destroying my skin barrier and it became sensitive to almost everything. I am so glad I ditched all the skincare products and cured my acne. I am now using this DIY anti-acne facewash in winter and my moisturizers vary nowadays but they are mostly among these moisturizers for acne-prone skin.
Drink One glass of orange juice (around 500 ml) every day. I prefer to make it at home with my Kalsi manual juicer, It works as a great exerciser as well and is fast enough to make 4 glasses of juice in just 15 minutes. This juicer also keeps the pulp in the juice so it’s a win-win.
We keep the orange rinds for the cows and bulls that visit our home daily. You can also dry the orange peels to make powder at home for DIY face packs or use them in composting.

Amla Juice For Acne Treatment
Amla or Indian gooseberry fruit juice is one of my favourites. Amla or Indian gooseberry is the powerhouse of vitamin C and I am a fan of this strong juice. It is not for the cold-hearted ones. It has to be taken like a shot in a small 100 ml glass.
How to Make Amla Juice for Clear Skin
Take 2 to 4 amla or Indian gooseberries, cut them into slices and remove the seed. Then grind them in a mixer along with 2 tablespoons of water in it. Then strain the mixture and drink the juice.
Just drink it in one go and it won’t be palatable at all so be prepared. You can add a pinch of rock salt to it.

The Great Green Juice For Acne
As the name suggests, this green juice is actually great for acne treatment. You just need a handful of green leafy veggies like spinach, lemon, coriander leaves and cucumber. Grind them, strain them and drink it daily.
Around 100 to 200 ml is enough for clearing your skin, boosting iron in the body, and giving your hair a sheen and that healthy glow on your face too.

- Helps in treating B12 deficiency symptoms
- Boosts immunity and helps in fighting the acne-causing bacteria
Some other amazing beverages for acne treatment include coconut water (full of antioxidants and boosts collagen production too) and Green tea for acne treatment.
Things to Consider While Drinking These Anti-Acne Juices
- Add Lemon to the juices – Except for Amla juice which is already the epitome of sourness, you can add half a lemon to all the juices to make them more palatable. Adding lemon to juices is also rewarding for the skin as it is astringent, contains loads of vitamin C, immunity booster, decreases the appearance of acne scars, and prevents further skin damage.
- Add Apple Cider Vinegar – Not more than 1 teaspoon in one glass, please. Don’t drink that juice empty stomach. (This won’t make it better, this will make it smell bad but it will certainly help clear the acne). More uses of apple cider vinegar for acne treatment.
- No Store-bought juices please – Don’t take any pre-packaged juices except Amla juice. Prefer fresh juices always.
- Don’t drink the Juices Empty Stomach – As most of these juices are sour in nature, except the sugarcane one, don’t drink these juices empty stomach. Drinking these empty stomach can irritate the stomach lining and can cause acidity and belching. So your best bet is to take it with or after your breakfast.
